All clients are solely responsible for reading and following our guidelines so everyone can have an enjoyable practice, while we maintain and sustain our community studio. By attending class, you are agreeing to all guidelines and policies.

Class Procedures

  1. Given the private nature of our studio, signing up means you are personally reserving a yoga teacher. Please do not sign up for a class and not show, as a courtesy to our teachers.
  2. Online booking ends: 30 minutes prior to class start time. If you have any problems with class booking, feel free to text or call prior to class start time at 843-798-2096.
  3. No one is admitted after class start time. Late arrivals are disruptive to class, please arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts.
  4. No shoes in studio. Yoga is best practiced barefoot, so be prepared to remove shoes in the reception room and place them in the provided baskets.
  5. Personal hygiene is a must, be clean (body and clothing) and odor free. No perfumes, lotions and or oils should be used prior to our practice. You practice near others. Be kind to yourself and everyone with a clean body and clothing.
  6. No pets are allowed due to allergy.
  7. No CELL PHONES allowed to be on in the studio. Note: make sure phones are in an off position. Ringing phones can be very disruptive. Please allow yourself to be “unplugged” while you are here.
  8. Payment and fees are due in full at the time of registration or class start time.
  9. All Clients must keep a credit card with up-to-date info on their account.A Memberships auto-pays and class cancellation policy violation fees must be paid in full to keep the account in good standings.

Sales Are Final

It takes a lot to run a studio and provide quality offerings to our clients.

We try to offer you the best services possible. Please be sure that you’re booking the correct service and using the membership or services in the specified time allotted. We do not offer refunds of classes, memberships or workshops purchased. It’s your responsibility to read our guidelines before purchasing. Non-use of services are not grounds for a refund. In some instances, per our discretion we can apply a credit to your account.

Class Cancellation Guidelines

Early Cancel

Early Cancellations must be submitted 2 hours prior to class time. Members may Early Cancel a booked class 2 hours or more before class start time without a penalty. Class cancellations can be submitted via your online account, our branded app, via email or by text – 843-798-2096.

Late Cancel – $5

Late Cancellation is a class cancelled within 1 hour of class start time. We understand sometimes an unexpected absence can occur, but every late cancellation is subject to the $5 fee. As of January 01,’ 2020, all late cancellations will be charged. Members may not see the late cancel fees charged on the same day of the OCCURANCE.

Absent No Show/Without No Cancel – $10

An Absent No Show/No Cancel is (different from Late Cancelling) meaning booking a class, not attending, and not late canceling out of that class – no show. We ask that you ALWAYS cancel out of class that you cannot attend. If members book a class spot and absent no-show there will be $10 charge to the member account. Members may not see the late fee charged on the same day of the OCCURANCE.

Please note, this is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. Class participation is our priority and we must make sure we allow our members and non- members a chance to participate in the class openings.

Single Class Drop In

If you purchased a Single Class Drop In this will not result in additional charges but will results in the forfeiture of the class fee paid. No additional fees will be charged but you will not be able to use the class a later time. A missed class cannot be transferred or used for another date. No Exceptions.

Unlimited Month, Yoga Certificate Pass, Promo Clients

If you purchased an Unlimited Month, Yoga Certificate Pass or any Promo you will not be charged for the first-class cancellation violation, however your yoga pass will be placed on hold for violating our class cancellation policies. Once on hold, our guidelines and class cancellation policies must be acknowledged via email to resume classes. All future occurrences will incur the normal class cancellation fee. If your yoga pass is placed on hold for violating the class cancellation policy, we are not responsible for any make-up classes or days that your account was on hold.

Workshops

All workshop sales are final with no refunds. Arrive early to claim your spot, late admittance (5 minutes after start time) is not allowed. Workshops cannot be transferred to other workshops. Please be sure that you can attend before purchasing any workshop classes.

Membership Cancellation Guidelines

It’s Easy To Cancel!

Send a membership cancellation request email to rivertownyogasc@gmail.com, at anytime prior to 5 days before your monthly billing cycle date.

An email sent to the correct email address above is proof of your membership cancellation request. We will confirm the request once it has been processed. If a confirmation email has not been received within three (3) business days, please call the studio.

  • Membership cancellations require 5 business day notice prior to the monthly billing date.
  • A membership cancellation request sent within 5-day period prior to your monthly billing date will incur 25% service charge to cancel. To avoid service charges, all cancellation requests must occur 5 business days before your billing date via email.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing via email to rivertownyogasc@gmail.com. Verbal conversations, text messages, phone calls and other forms of communication are not acceptable.
  • There are NO REFUNDS, if a membership cancellation request has been received after card is charged.
  • Under no circumstances are date extensions granted.
  • Monthly memberships may not be used by, or transferred to, another person. It may be transferred to a family member only with management approval.
  • Please request a cancellation or forward all questions to by sending us an e-mail at rivertownyogasc@gmail.com.
  • If a cancellation request is received via email after a client’s credit card has been charged, there will be no refund provided. No Exceptions.

All Memberships Auto Renew

All memberships will auto renew unless the client sends an email to cancel. It is the client’s responsibility to stop the automatic payment before the date their monthly membership renews.

  • Once the membership auto renews, the same terms and conditions apply that are the original agreement and set forth in these current guidelines/cancellations policy on this page.

Membership Suspension

Your membership can be placed on hold for any reason up to a maximum of 3 months. Perfect if you need to take a break or going on vacation. If any longer then 3 months because of injury, you must have a Doctors notice.

  • All membership changes must be submitted via email 5 days before your monthly billing cycle date.
  • If a membership suspension or hold request is sent within 5-day period prior to your monthly billing date the suspension cannot be processed.
  • Suspensions can only be processed for a minimum of one (1) month – billing cycle to billing cycle.
  • Membership Suspension or holds are a maximum of 3 consecutive months, unless otherwise authorized by the manager in writing.
  • All membership suspensions must be submitted via email to rivertownyogasc@gmail.com

Refunds / Transfers

  • There are no refunds on any Trial Classes, Drop Ins, Yoga pass, Class Packs, or Memberships.
  • There are no transfers on any Trial Classes, Drop Ins, Yoga Pass, Class packs, or Memberships.

Single Class Unlimited Trial Month

  • Expires 1 month after sale date.

All Memberships

Auto-pay memberships have three (3) and six-month (6) expiration dates and will auto renew each month for those time periods.
